Senior, Megan Richards, was crowned Italy High School Homecoming Queen on Friday night during the half-time festivities. Richards is the daughter of Tina and Allen Richards of Italy.

As the music played in the background and the crowd waited with anticipation, the representatives of the National Honor Society and 2010 IHS Queen, Shelbi Gilley, crowned the Homecoming Queen of 2011, Megan Richards.

The queen’s court included seniors, Destani Anderson, Bailey Bumpus, Jimesha Reed and Sa’Kendra Norwood. Class Princesses were freshman Kelsey Nelson, sophomore Halee Love and junior Sierra Harris.
