Monolithic Open House
October 15, 2011
10am-4pm
Everyone is invited!

Have you ever had the desire to see what it is like inside a Monolithic Dome home? Well, now is your chance. Saturday, October 15 from 10am-4pm, Monolithic Constructors will have an Open House and you are invited. The National Monolithic Dome Tour hosts many Monolithic Dome homes across the United States.

These buildings are strong, tornado and hurricane proof. And according to FEMA, the domes are “near-absolute protection.” That’s good to know in these days and times. Locally, Italy High School and Avalon High School are Monolithic Domes (tours available by appointment on Friday, Oct. 14).

There will be 5 homes open to the public on Saturday, also “Bruco” (the Texas Italian Caterpillar, rental model, cabins, the training center and our office-all wonderful, Monolithic Domes.

It is a come-and-go walking tour, so bring a pair of comfortable shoes and join us for a cup of lemonade. KBEC will go live right here from 10am- 11am. And of course, there is no charge.

Bring your friends and make a day of it touring our wonderful domes and enjoying the atmosphere. It’s so cozy, you might not want to leave!
