The superintendent of Italy ISD, Barry Bassett, welcomes everyone to a community breakfast to be held Saturday, October 15th at 8:30am in the Italy High School cafeteria. Mr. Bassett wants parents and community members to be a part of a collaborative team to help achieve success within the school district and subsequently the community. 

There is no charge for the breakfast, and those in attendance will have an opportunity to learn and be involved in a systemic process of change he has outlined.  

In conjunction with the event, the district will present a “Living Legacy” award for a community member who has demonstrated a willingness and commitment to become engaged in and be involved in promoting the school and community partnership.
