This past weekend the Flying Dollar Ranch held a Halloween Horse Show. It is a yearly event and the participants are urged to wear costumes. In addition to the costume fun there are several other fun events that the participants competed in. From the look of the pictures it was a good time for these equestrians.

Sadie Hinz of Italy won the “Most Glamorous” prize in the costume contest for dressing herself and her horse as an Arabian Princess.

Kyla Chandler of Maypearl won Best Overall costume as she and her horse depicted Little Red Riding Hood and her horse was the wolf dressed up as grandma.

Autumn Wells of Waxahachie had a blast competing in Mighty Special. The pair won western walk trot and horsemanship.

Alyssa Ballew of Midlothian had a great time competing in the panty race!

Courtney Griffith of Midlothian and her horse Grayliner won the hunter over fences and English walk trot classes.

With temperatures in the 40’s it was a frosty morning to start a horse show! Sadie Hinz of Italy and her horse Cinnamon won Geldings at Halter, Color at Halter, Showmanship at Halter, English Walk Trot, English Equitation and Trail.

Sandy Neal of Italy and her horse Miss Specialty won the mares at halter class and placed second in western walk trot.
