Ho! Ho! Ho! It is Christmas time at Milford ISD. Thursday evening the gymnasium was filled with excited students, Christmas trees, proud parents and family members. Milford ISD’s band director, Mr. Mike Trussell, had his band students playing up a storm of Christmas music bringing Christmas cheer to everyone there.

The program started out with the fifth grade recorder group playing Jolly Old St. Nicholas, Jingle Bells and Good King Wenceslas. Then the pre-k students delighted everyone with their rendition of Gingerbread Cookies. Not to be overlooked, the Kindergarten students sang Don’t Eat a Poinsettia.

Jingle Bells, Up on a House Top and Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, were played by Milford’s sixth grade beginner band dazzling the audience with their amazing talent.

Next up, were the first and second graders singing, Listen to the Jingle, the third graders singing, We Will Jingle , and then followed by the seventh grade band playing, Christmas March, Holly Jolly Christmas and We Wish You A Merry Christmas.

If that wasn’t enough, the fourth graders entertained everyone with their rendition of There’s Someone in the Chimney. Lastly, the High School band played, A Renaissance Christmas, Christmas Concerto #3 and It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

It just wouldn’t be Christmas without Santa Claus. You guessed it, Santa made his surprise visit into the gymnasium to conclude this wonderful Christmas program.

Merry Christmas! Great job Milford ISD.
