Christmas at Trinity Mission
Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas and lots of Christmas Cheer. That is what was happening at Trinity Mission last week. Santa showed up at Trinity Mission to make a special appearance for the residents’ Christmas party.
Not only was Santa there but David Lowrey was there too to entertain the residents with some live Christmas music. Lowrey said, “I have come down to Trinity Mission a couple times a month and sing for the residents for about 3 or 4 months. I live in Italy and am off work on Fridays so I come and sing Country music songs, their favorite is Elvira. Today I came to sing some old fashioned Christmas songs.”
Trinity Mission didn’t miss a beat this Christmas season, not only did Santa come to pass out gifts and David Lowrey came to sing Christmas songs, but there was food and goodies galore. There was Christmas punch, cookies, cake, grapes and cheese, croissant sandwiches just to name a few.
Carolyn Powell (activities director) said, “Merry Christmas Ho! Ho! Ho!. We have Santa in the building! Everyone is partying at Trinity Mission. We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The residents think it is wonderful that Santa is here and are happy to see another Christmas.”
Another great day at Trinity Mission. Merry Christmas!
