What a great month to have a birthday! December is the month that we celebrate Christmas and in the case of Trinity Mission they also celebrate birthdays, ten of them this year to be exact.

The December birthdays are: Mable Sandifer, Margie Saunders, George Lowe, Elizabeth Weldon, Nimr Mahdi, Edith Newell, Lessie Jennings, Clyde Brown, Gladys Oliver and Ferman Barrentine.

As usual there was cake and ice cream for everyone along with lots of smiles all around. Everyone was glad to have another birthday and another celebration.

Activities director, Carolyn Powell said, “Celebrating birthdays and the end of the year all rolled into one is very exciting. It is exciting to know the people at Trinity Mission, to know they have lived a lot of life and they keep on going. They enhance our lives, make life worth living and it is an honor to come to work each day and visit with them.”
