In their home opener this past Tuesday night, the Lady Gladiators dominated the Palmer Lady Bulldogs. They won the contest 9-0 giving senior pitcher, Megan Richards, a shutout for her stat book.

Freshman, Madison Washington did her part in securing the win by providing 6 RBIs. Sophomore, Paige Westbrook and senior, Alma Suaste each had 2 RBIs each.  Doubles were hit by Washington, Westbrook and Megan Richards. The bats were on fire and everyone did their part.

Game highlight would have to be the pick-off play where junior, Alyssa Richards threw down to third baseman, Byers, to catch an unsuspecting runner before she could tag up. This came during the Lady Bulldogs last at-bat of the game.  Earlier in the contest, freshman, Tara Wallis made a high fly-ball catch showing her skills as an outfielder.

Four Lady Gladiators Go Yard In Waco!!!!

On Thursday, February 23, the Lady Gladiators played two pool games.  One against Waco Robinson and the other against Burleson Centennial, both 3A schools. Although the final scores where not in the Lady Gladiators’ favor they did have four players hit out of the park home-runs, one of them hitting three!
