The Italy Lady Gladiators head coached by, Randy Parks and assisted by Tina Richards, finished short of their playoff goal this season but enjoyed their role as a district spoiler and added a few more victories in the win column before the final buzzer sounded.

Seniors, Kaytlyn Bales, Jimesha Reed, Megan Richards and Kaitlyn Rossa will certainly be missed. Who could forget Kaitlyn’s 28-point night, Megan’s rainbow three-pointers, Jimesha leading the fast break against Rio Vista or Kaytlyn’s business-like attitude when it came to crashing the boards.

Next season will not be a rebuilding one, but instead, the Lady Gladiators will simply reload under the leadership of star point guard Jameka Copeland, power forward Alyssa “Bone Crusher” Richards and Jaclynn Lewis, a hardworking post player.

To the Seniors, “Thanks for your dedication and the wonderful memories!”
