Italy Mayor Frank Jackson said the annual Mayor’s Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 7. The event will begin at 10 a.m. at Upchurch Field for children throughout the city.

He said the city has about 6,000 plastic eggs but needs individually wrapped candy to place inside the plastic eggs. Any donations can be made at city hall.

Upchurch Field is located on Dilworth Street between South Ward and Stafford streets.
