Wednesday morning there was all kinds of summer fun being had at the Haight’s. There were water slides, trains, games, a petting zoo and they even had a zip line! We can’t forget about all the goodies they had to eat like pizza, snow cones and brownies.

Everywhere you looked you saw kids running up and down hills from one fun activity to another. Laughter and screams could be heard as the students were zipping down the zip line.

For the second year in a row Tina Haight has thrown a summer party for the students of First Christian School of Waxahachie.

Haight said, " We are throwing First Christian School an out of school party. This is our second year doing this. My girls Grace and Hannah go to school there and they volunteered me again this year and I couldn’t say no. First Christian school in Waxahachie offers schooling for grade-school through the twelveth grade. There are about 150 students here today and about 150 parents."
