Pre-K graduation at Stafford Elementary
You better watch out, here comes the pre-K graduating class of Stafford Elementary. You better get ready because here they come, they are ready for kindergarten.
Thursday afternoon around 1:30 pm the cutest little pre-schoolers could be seen walking across the stage ready to get their badge of honor (red ribbons) signifying their graduation from pre-school. The cafeteria was filled with friends and family there to see their little ones “walk the stage”.
Mrs. Spraberry (pre-K teacher) welcomed all the parents, family and guests. She thanked everyone for coming to their “Step Up to Kindergarten Program.” She said, “Together we have grown and learned so much this year. Throughout the year we have played, sang and worked very hard and the kids have done very well.”
Together with the audience the pre-schoolers said the Pledge of Allegiance and the pledge to the Texas flag.
They then delighted everyone with singing their Alphabet Song and Macarena Months. And boy oh boy they really do know their alphabet and the months of the year.
Up next was Oh What Fun, the Baby Shark and I am Ready to go off to Kindergarten songs which were sung with great gusto.
After their fun loving performance each student upon having their name called received their red ribbons and a hand shake from Mr. Miller (principal).
The program ended with Mrs. Spraberry reciting the poem, “Your Teacher”.
I’m glad I was your teacher.
I’ve come to love you so.
I can’t believe the end is here.
I hate to see you go.
Remember all the fun we had
in all the things we did,
But most of all remember…
You’re a very special kid!
Another fun and exciting day at Stafford Elementary.
