The Italy Gladiators, under first year head coach Josh Ward and first year assistant Randy Parks, had four team members recognized on the 2011-2012 2A Region II District 15 All-District list. Pitchers Justin Buchanan and Caden Jacinto headed up a Gladiator pitching staff that led the district in fewest hits and walks allowed. Buchanan was the district leader in strikeouts.

Jacinto, along with teammate Cole Hopkins, will lead the way next season for Italy combining with teammates, Reid Jacinto, Chase Hamilton, Justin Wood and John Byers to form a talented foundation for Coach Ward to build upon.
