Once again it is time to celebrate birthdays at Trinity Mission. July birthdays were celebrated with fun, cake and ice cream.

There were only two birthdays this month and the ladies had it. The men had no birthdays for the month of July. The birthday girls are: Francis Davidson and Evelyn Hocutt.

Francis Davidson’s birthday was July 20th. Francis said, “When I was young we used to celebrate my birthday with family parties.”

When asked what she did when she was younger she responded, “I worked at the First State Bank of Italy. I was a teller. I retired from the bank. I loved my job. I loved counting the money and helping the customers. I loved everything about it.”

Evelyn Hocutt’s birthday was July 10th. She said, “I love the birthday parties Trinity Mission has for the residents.”

“July birthdays was an exciting time with cake and punch and ice cream. Everybody told stories about when they were growing up and they laughed and giggled. The two ladies talked about how they couldn’t believe they were in their nineties. We love life at Trinity Mission and we can’t wait for next month’s birthdays, "Carolyn Powell (activities director) cheerfully said.
