There were seven birthdays this month at Trinity Mission. Seven birthday girls! Talk about a celebration – there was cake, ice cream and plenty of punch for everyone.

The birthday girls were Jackie Adams, Audrey Aldridge, Margaret Oliphant, Kathlene Smith, Janie Hale, Helen Santos and Alice Munster.

Margaret Oliphant turned ninety two and is proud of it, she said, “I am glad to be here. Each day is a new day for me.” Margaret used to teach English at Italy ISD for many, many years.

“September just flew by and I can’t believe it is time to celebrate September birthdays already. Every day at Trinity Mission we are so excited for things to come such as Fall Festival with the Stafford students, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have new residents and therefore new birthdays to celebrate, come on out and celebrate them with us sometime,” said Carolyn Powell (activities director).
