Italian based fashion company seeks casting for short film in Italy, Texas

Doomsday Entertainment, a Los Angeles based entertainment production company, is currently preparing to shoot a short film in Italy, Texas on November 3rd – 5th, 2012, that will be directed by Aoife McArdle, an award winning short film director. The project is being sponsored by an Italian fashion line and the company commissioned this piece with the intention of it profiling Italy to play on the unique name and connection to their country. The fashion company specializes in everyday trendy clothes for teens and early 20 year olds.
The story of the short film revolves around two teenagers growing up in Italy. While the content is fictional, the filmmakers want to incorporate documentary aspects into the creation of the project. One aspect of the story that the filmmakers would like to explore are people’s relationships to their animals while growing up in Italy.
Jason Baum, a representative from Doomsday was in Italy on Friday and Saturday to visit with members of the community and take still photos that the director and crew will review back in Los Angeles. Production teams will arrive in Italy on October 24.
They are looking for boys and girls that are at least 16 years of age, and up to 23 years of age that might be interested in acting in the film. It is a plus if the girl has a horse or can ride one well.
Doomsday is also looking for a variety of ages of people with interesting pets/animals, anything from a cute dog to something exotic. Also, anyone with an older muscle car from the 80s possibly. Monetary compensation will be made available to those casted and to property owners.
