IHS Art Department has success at recent Heart of Texas Fair in Waco

Under the direction of IHS Art instructor, Mrs. Marilyn Seidlitz, two IHS students returned from the recent Heart of Texas Livestock Show & Rodeo Creative Arts Show with high praises for their pastel art pieces.
Anna Riddle, an IHS junior received a 1st place ribbon in Group D with her ‘Panda’ pastel. Anna’s pastel was also named Overall Grand Champion of all Creative Arts entries!
Joseph Sage, also an IHS junior, took 2nd place in Group D with his ‘Ostrich’ pastel!
Mrs. Seidlitz was told that the judges contemplated long and hard over the 1st and 2nd placings and that both pieces of art work made all smile!
