As Student Council president, I want to welcome everyone to an exciting year of fun. As this is the first year for Stafford Elementary Student Council, we are looking forward to accomplishing many things.

We have a lot going on right now including the Christmas float for the Italy Christmas parade, a fundraiser for victims of Hurricane Sandy, and working with the Italy High School’s National Honor Society on the canned food drive.

The purpose of the student council is to promote school pride and develop teamwork and leadership skills. The community is also an important part of the student council. Our members value and support their school and community.
