Jeannie Richardson (president) of The Milford Titus Women decided to honor the Milford fourth grade class with a pizza party on Thursday. Why you might ask? Because they collected the most can goods for the food drive lead by the Milford Titus Women.

This is the second year the Titus Women have lead the way to collect food for those in need. And this is the second year in a row the fourth graders collected the most can goods. Jeannie Richardson said, “I am so proud of the students. The whole school went all out to collect can goods. The fourth grade class won by only three cans. This is the second year to have the can drive and it was a great success.”

The fourth grade class was treated to a pizza party much to their delight. Each student also received a community service award for their hard work and compassion to help others. Richardson told the class that she was very proud of them and this was a good step in the right direction to keep them involved in serving their community.

Congratulations Milford fourth graders, keep up the good work!
