Trinity Mission celebrated Valentines Day with flair as usual! And of course the usual fair of punch and lots of valentine cookies was there for all to enjoy.

But the highlight of the day was the crowning of the Valentine King and Queen. Celeste Carroll (activities director) said, “I had a basket up in the front for everyone to put in their votes of who they wanted as King and Queen. It was a landslide! Jack Guthrie and Mary Vance were voted as the King and Queen.”

Jack said, “It is an honor to be chosen as Valentine King. I am glad they chose me.” And Mary said, “I never thought I would get to be Valentine Queen! It was a good surprise.”

Gwen Somerville (resident) was very excited about the King and Queen. She said, “Jack is so cute. He can’t stop eating cookies long enough to be King!”

“I was very thankful for all the participation for Valentine’s Day. Happy Valentines Day!”, explained Celeste Carroll.
