Waco – Coach Melissa Fullmer would like to update the progress of the members of the Italy High School tennis team who will be competing in the District 13-A tennis tournament on Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9 at the Richland Tennis Center in North Richland Hills.

There will be players competing in each division of singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Play is scheduled to begin Monday morning at 8:30. Boys singles will be the first group, followed by girls singles, boys doubles, girls doubles and mixed doubles.

Cole Hopkins and Zain Byers received the #1 seed in boys doubles and Alyssa Richards and Chase Hamilton received the #3 seed in mixed doubles. The top two qualifiers in each division advance to the regional tennis meet on April 17-18 in Abilene.
