Several students in the Italy Junior High and High School art classes participated in the Ellis County Art Association’s 2013 Art Show recently.

Marilyn Seidlitz, instructor, said she is pleased with the student participation and results —

Seventh graders — Kylee Dabney, sixth place with pastel; Sara Burrow, fourth place with clay sculpture; Rocky Havens; and Gabriel Guzman with pastel.

Eighth grader — Elizabeth Estrada, fifth place with pastel.

Juniors — Anna Riddle, pastel; and Joseph Sage, ink print.

Seniors — Marisol Rincon-Morales, fourth place with rose stipple; Elena Estrada, second place with guitar stipple; and Gus Allen, five pieces of art work with scholarship application.
