Gladiator Football players and managers receive State semifinal medals

Italy — Italy High School Athletic Director and Head football coach, Hank Hollywood, had a pleasant surprise for his players and team managers when he presented each with a State semifinal medal during the 2013 Italy Athletic Banquet.
After each recipient was announced, with the players all receiving certificates in recognition for their efforts, family members were given the honor of placing the medal around their special one’s neck before taking turns having a family or group photo taken.
When the Gladiators reached the semifinal game they became only the fourth team in school history to accomplish the feat and were certainly deserving of the recognition they received during the banquet.
Once again, congratulations to the team, the managers and coaches on what was a special and unforgettable season in the history of Italy Gladiator Football.
