Local children’s book author, Mayme Onstad, offers children’s books with principles. Urple Fishing is one of those books. Now listed on Amazon and Createspace.com at reduced prices. Mayme suggests this book for children ages 4-8.

Onstad’s main goals are to share the love of Christ to children and to sell enough books to have copies made in braille, which is a very expensive undertaking. She mentioned she has talked to a worried grandmother that her grandchild was going blind. The distraught woman begged for hard to find Christian storybooks with pictures and Mayme felt the tug of her heartstrings. Mayme started writing and eventually several books, games and plays all based upon Christ’s principles were completed.
