2012 Inaugural NEH Superbowl:
Enjoy photos from the inaugural 2012 NEH Bantam, Minor and Major Superbowls hosted by the IYAA at Willis Field in Italy. After the Palmer Bulldogs defeated the Blooming Grove Lions to claim the C-Division Superbowl and after the Hubbard Jaguars won the B-Division Superbowl by beating the Dawson Bulldogs, the A-Division Superbowl (5th – 6th) pitted the undefeated Palmer Bulldogs against Italy’s A-Team Gladiators, head coached by Aaron Itson and assisted by Jasenio Anderson and Shedrick Walker.

Before the game began, Italy’s A-Team Gladiators had already made history by being the first IYAA A-Team to ever reach the Superbowl since the organization was founded back in 2000. Italy, led by quarterback Ryder Itson, also relied heavily on tailback Jonathan Salas and halfback Cade Brewer to advance the ball against a fast-reacting Bulldog defense. In the end, Palmer held on for the win but not before Italy’s 2012 A-Team Gladiators charted a winning campaign that led them all the way to the big game!
