Seven birthdays were celebrated in the month of August at Trinity Mission. As always there was cake and ice cream for all and smiles all around.

The birthday folks were: Jimmy Wheeler, Gwen Somerville, Neal Perkins, Joyce Cupp, Maxine Lipscomb, James Brockman and Buna Guthrie.

It was a special birthday for Buna. She turned 103 this year. She had family out for her big celebration and they treated her to cake and ice cream and lots of laughter. She was all decked out with her beautiful pink blouse with a large cream colored collar. She was looking good!

When asked how old he was this year Neal Perkins replied, “Too young!” He wouldn’t tell his age, he would only smile and say he was just too young to tell!

Sarah Zambrano (Activities Director) said, “It is always fun celebrating the birthdays of the residents. We are always celebrating life here at Trinity Mission, we are just one great big family.”
