Save the date for the Barry Byers Appreciation Dinner on Friday, September 27th (a bye week for the Gladiators) at the famed Uptown Cafe in downtown Italy, Texas. Baked potatoes, baked potatoes stuffed with BBQ or just a plain ole’ BBQ sandwich will be served from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. To-go plates will be available!

All plates will be $10. Monies raised at this event will be used to purchase a new state-of-the-art camera for Barry to use as he continues to promote our town and our schools in a way that only Barry Byers can.

During the event, there will be ping pong tables and washer boards set up in the downtown pavilion for our community’s young people to enjoy.

Donations will be graciously accepted.
