When I pulled up to Stafford Elementary Thursday, I was very surprised to see a very large, shiny black limousine pulling up in front of the school! Shortly after the limo pulled up I saw many smiling students walking towards the limousine and the chauffeur helping them in. What was going on you might ask?

These students were on their way to have lunch at CiCi’s Pizza in Waxahachie and in a limo to boot! Why these students? Because they sold fifteen items or more during the Big Kahuna Fundraiser. The money earned will go to the school to help provide school needs.

Daniel Espinosa, chauffeur for Heaven on Wheels Limousine Service said, “This is the second year that we have come to Stafford to pick up the kids and bring them to CiCi’s for lunch. Very nice students, very excited but very well behaved.”

Mr. Nash (Stafford Elementary principal) said, “Stafford Students and the community, did a great job participating in our school fundraiser. I was delighted by the support the students received. We sold around $5,000.00 more than we did last year. In total, we sold around $18,000.00 with a profit of around $8,000. The money will be used on upcoming student activities like positive promotions and incentives. I want to thank teachers, staff, parents, community members and most of all the students for doing such a great job.”

Another great day at Stafford Elementary!
