Every morning, Principal Nash has selected students help him with the announcements to start out everyone’s day on a high note. Up beat music is playing softly in the background as the announcements are made to make students aware of the agenda for the day.

Last Friday, Tanner Chambers (student council president) gave his Student Council President’s message after the other announcements over the loud speaker. This is what he said:

As Student Council President, I want to welcome everyone to an exciting year of great memories. The Stafford Student Council is looking forward to accomplishing many great things this 2013-2014 year.

The project we are in the process of working on is honoring our Veterans at the Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th. Our Veterans have given so much to us and our country; therefore we are looking forward to showing our appreciation to them.

The purpose of the student council is to promote school pride, develop teamwork and leadership skills. The community is also an important part of the student council. Our members value and support our community.

And lastly, thank you and God bless our school and America.
