9th annual Italy High School/Junior High School Reading Marathon a success
Italy High School and Junior High School students participated in the 9th annual Reading Marathon this past week. There were 80 reading time slots available to sign up for and read for pleasure.
Mrs. Farmer, the former librarian, began this program nine years ago and the students look forward to participating each year.
Students were able to put up their feet on the new ottoman that Mrs. Seidlitz (IHS/IJHS art instructor) and Halee Turner painted, and were given a choice of Dr. Pepper or hot chocolate to drink along with popcorn to munch on.
With over 75 participants, we had a great week.
Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!
