Pastries with Parents – a success
Thursday morning at 7:00 AM Stafford Elementary opened up the doors of the school to invite parents, students and teachers to come and enjoy some camaraderie and donuts.
The hallway had tables set up filled with donuts and other pastries along with parents, students and teachers all of whom were busy tasting all the goodies.
Many parents were filtering in at different times throughout the hour. There were a lot of happy faces. Mr. Nash (principal) said, “We like to involve parents with the school and the students as much as we can. This is a good way of inviting the parents, students and teachers to be more involved with one another. It looks like we are having a pretty good turnout.”
Mrs. Patterson (teacher) said, “This is a way of getting more parental involvement and everyone together to enjoy a good time.”
Mrs. Garcia (teacher) explained, “It is a great way to be able to socialize with the parents and students at school. It inspires a feeling of community and not just grades and school work.”
Another great day at Stafford Elementary!
