When you walked into Trinity Mission Thursday mid morning all the staff members were wearing their pajamas! Why you ask? Because they were having their Christmas party for the residents and they wanted it to be like everyone just woke up on Christmas morning ready to enjoy Christmas.

Trinity Mission went all out for the residents this year. They had quite a few trays filled with fresh fruit, holiday goodies, muffins, croissants, and lots more. Not to say anything about all the presents under the Christmas trees for the residents.

Jay Paul and Mary Howe, volunteers for the Waxahachie Senior Community Center, came to bring gifts for the residents and to help pass them out.

When asked where all the gifts came from Chris Baker (marketing director) answered, “Each staff member adopted residents and purchased gifts for them. Also the Salvation Army, family members and local churches donated lots of gifts so no one would go without one.”

Needless to say the place was hopping with excitement as all the residents opened their presents and enjoyed all the delicious goodies set out for them to enjoy.

Baker said, “This Christmas party is a labor of love! We want everyone to have a Merry Christmas and celebrate the real reason we have Christmas. It is always great to be with friends and family at Christmas time.”

Another day of celebrating life at Trinity Mission! Merry Christmas!
