Four-day Math Blitz setup to help Italy 8th graders prepare for STAAR Testing
The math department at Italy High School has put together a MATH BLITZ for the all the 8th graders, a a four-day tutorial session to help students prepare for their upcoming STAAR Test. Session dates are March 24th, 26th, 27th, 31st from 3:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Hello parents, its that time of the year again!! Yeah you guessed it, STAAR Testing!! Try to relax everything will be ok. Your students have been working hard and so have the teachers. The math department here at Italy High School has put together a MATH BLITZ for all the 8th graders.
A MATH BLITZ is a four-day tutorial session of the different objectives that will be presented on the STAAR Test. Students will be fully engaged with different types of learning activities to help motivate them to do their best when the big test day arrives.
Please help by having your child attend all four sessions and persuading them to STUDY! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Holden, head of the Math Department.
You are invited to the 8th grade Math Blitz!!
- Dates: March 24th, 26th, 27th, 31st
- Time: 3pm- 5pm
- Where: Italy High School Cafeteria
- Items needed: Pencil, paper, GREAT attitude
- Purpose: This Math Blitz is going to provide YOU with extra help and motivation for the 8th grade math STAAR Test. Each day will consist of different activities that will pertain to certain objectives from the STAAR Test.
