Make plans to attend IYAA Night this Friday, April 4th!

White-Out the stands by wearing WHITE to the game!!

Friday night, April 4th, there will be big goings-on at the Italy High School Baseball and Softball fields! Besides our Gladiators and Lady Gladiators taking on rival Itasca on the sacred red sand, our IYAA will be honored during the pre-game introductions. Also, during the night, in a joint effort between the baseball and softball teams, there will be a drive-thru hamburger stand available—YUM!

IYAA Participation
Throughout the evening all IYAA baseball/softball teams will be recognized. Based on raffle that is currently underway, one lucky IYAA softball player and one lucky IYAA baseball player will be drawn to throw out the first pitch during the softball game and baseball game! There will be an additional IYAA baseball player drawn to be an honorary coach during the varsity baseball game as well as an additional IYAA softball player to stand in as an honorary coach for the varsity softball game.

Drive-thru Burgers
The drive-thru burger stand will be serving burgers from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Proceeds from the burger stand will benefit the Italy HS Baseball and Softball programs. All fixings for the burgers will be available at the softball and baseball concession stands. Burgers will sell for $3 each.

• JV Boys – 4:30 game time (vs Waxahachie Faith Family) cancelled
• Varsity Girls – 5:30 game time (vs Itasca)
• Varsity Boys – 6:30 game time (vs Itasca) -new start time

Plea to Gladiator Nation:
Come out on Friday night wearing WHITE to show support for our Gladiators and Lady Gladiators as they take on the Itasca Wampus Cats. This is a big game for both squads!!
