Watch out! You better hide! There are a whole bunch of wild animals in the Stafford Elementary cafeteria. Here they come—run!

Once again it was time for the performance ‘Deep in the Jungle’ at Stafford Elementary. The cafeteria was filled with parents and family members enjoying the show.

Deep in this jungle the wild animals were no other than first graders dancing away to songs such as: Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata, Bahamas Pajamas, Bare Necessities and the Lion Sleeps Tonight.

There were the cutest little monkeys you ever saw taunting and teasing the big, old, grumpy crocodile. They tauntingly sang out, “Nanna Nanna Boo Boo you can’t catch me”! But unfortunately for the monkeys the old crocodile did catch them one by one.

Not only was there a very old, grumpy crocodile but there also was a ferocious Lion King that appeared just strutting his stuff and at the same time practicing his ’Roar".

Throughout the program each group of animals recited poems such as: When you talk to a Monkey, The Crocodile, The Ocelot, The Lion, The Cheetah, The Snake, The Zebra and The Elephant.

Once again another great performance of ‘Deep in the Jungle.’ Hats off to the teachers and staff that always go the extra mile to make sure this performance is always stellar! Great job Stafford first graders!
