Italy Junior High Students Received Awards

On Wednesday, May 14, 2014, Italy Junior High assembled in the Dome and administration honored those who had reached achievements for this six weeks and all year long. Each grade and area of study were recognized for high grades and high achievement. The group was also honored with the annual recognition of the Margaret Oliphant Cup. Eighth grader, Chris Munoz, received the honor for the 2013-2014 school year. The junior high teachers vote the recipient each year and use academics, attitude and citizenship as part of the criteria. Past recipient, Vanessa Cantu, gave the honored student his trophy.

Also announced were the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for each grade: Garrett Janek 8th Grade Salutatorian and Kyle Tindol 8th Grade Valedictorian; Karson Holley 7th grade Salutatorian and Karley Nelson 7th grade Valedictorian.
