Italy ISD introduces new scheduling system for high school campus
The administration at Italy High School is implementing a new scheduling system for the 2014-2015 school year. The system will allow students to enter their pre-approved course requests directly into the computer. The students’ benefit is receiving their schedule sooner. The school also benefits by having a more efficient method of scheduling.
We recognize that we will have a learning curve while implementing the new system. In order to alleviate some potential problems, we are asking the incoming junior high and high school students to come to the school to enter their schedule requests. Staff members will be available to guide and assist the students in the process.
The schedule is as follows:
| All sessions will be in the library. The students will leave immediately after entering their pre-approved requests. The process should take less than 20 minutes for each student. | |||

| Monday | June 23rd | 1:00 – 3:00 | Freshmen/Sophomores |
| Monday | June 23rd | 3:00 – 4:00 | 7th and 8th Graders |
| Tuesday | June 24th | 1:00 – 3:00 | Make-up time for students who missed their scheduled time |
