At around midnight the Milford Police Department received a call from Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers has received a tip that Edward Copeland (fugitive) was heading to 210 West Water Street in Milford.

The Milford Police department, assisted by the Italy PD, Maypearl Canine Squad and the Ellis County Sheriff Department approached the home. After beating on the door of the mobile home, the officers could hear shuffling around in the house. The officers gained entry into the house and apprehended the fugitive hiding in a back room. He is now in custody at the Ellis County Jail.

The residents of 210 West Water Street, Milford have also been arrested for harboring a fugitive.
