Homecoming 2014 is just around the corner, and preparations have already begun. On October 10, 2014, the parade will start at the high school parking lot and will wind around to end behind the First State Bank with our crowd-rousing pep rally during which the Homecoming King will be announced.

Any organization or group interested in participating in the parade, please email Jennifer Eaglen at [email protected]. Please include the name of your group and what type of display you plan to enter. Deadline for entry is Wednesday, October 8th. We encourage as many groups or classes to enter as possible; the more we have, the more successful our homecoming festivities will be.

The following is a schedule of events for our exciting week of celebration:

• Saturday, October 4th – Homecoming Dance- 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
• Monday, October 6th – Twin Dress up Day
• Tuesday, October 7th – Toga Tuesday Dress up Day
• Wednesday, October 8th – Gender Bender Dress Up Day
• Thursday, October 9th – Duct Tape Dress up Day
• Friday, October 10th – Gold Out Dress up Day
  • Parade at 2:00, followed by the pep rally downtown, and the crowning of Homecoming King
  • George Scott Memorial Scholarship Dinner – 5:00pm – 7:00pm (Italy HS cafeteria)
  • Recognition of alumni of graduating classes of ’44, ’54, ’64, ’74, ’84, ’94, ’04, and ’14 at 7:00 pm on the football field
  • Italy vs. Dawson at 7:30
  • Presentation of Homecoming Court and crowning of Queen during halftime
