ID badges at Italy High School

In order to improve safety procedures at Italy Junior High and High School all students are required to wear a school issued identification card. This procedure was put into place to help teachers identify students who may not be assigned to one of their classes. Our visitors and employees are also required to wear an ID so we can identify all people who are permitted on campus.

The student will properly display the ID by wearing it above their waist and below their neck on the front of the torso. Principal Joffre has implemented this procedure by informing the students during grade level orientation and by reminding them through several announcements at school and via Remind 101. Failure to comply with this safety procedure will result in a detention. Persistent violations will result in consequences greater than a detention.

The students have been issued their first ID free of charge. Lost or destroyed ID cards will be replaced for $3.00.

Should you have questions about this procedure please contact Principal Joffre at 972-483-7411.
