On Friday, March 13 at 8 pm. “Dateline NBC” channel 5 will be airing a 2 hour program on Shelley Nance. Shelley was a 2007 graduate of Italy High School who was a victim of homicide in Sept 2009 while a student of the Art Institute of Dallas.

Reporter Keith Morrison will interview the family as well as those involved in the investigation and trial.

Dateline will have some of Shelley’s artwork on their website with links to her website (www.kakushi-kamera.net) and other info on Dateline’s Facebook page.

Channel 47 “The Broadcast” will also air an interview with Shelley’s mother, Cynthia Nance, who will be speaking about the Shelley Nance Memorial Art Scholarship fund which was created in 2010. This scholarship in the amount of $1000 yearly, is awarded to a graduating Italy High School senior who will be pursuing a degree in the field of art at the college level.
