On September 16th, 2015 at around 8:25 pm the Italy Police Department received a 9-1-1 call of a disturbance of a fight in the 700 block of Williams Street.

The responding Officer arrived on the scene with several black males physically fighting in the street. Immediately the subjects all ran on foot in different directions. A very short time later, multiple shots were fired at a separate location in the area. Multiple agencies responded including Milford Police Department, Ellis County Sheriff Office, DPS, Waxahachie Police Department, Cedar Hill Police Department, DeSoto Police Department and DPS Air One. A perimeter was setup as soon as possible with all of the surrounding agencies.

The subjects that were involved in the initial fight are still outstanding and the incident is an ongoing investigation at this time.
