Parents and Community: The following information is being provided to help understand a situation that occurred today. At approximately 1:09 PM employees of the high school became aware of a domestic disturbance on Park St. The Italy police department was notified. The decision was made to enter a Code Yellow Lock Down. This type lock down prevents students, and community members from leaving and/or entering the building. During the lock down the faculty and staff ensured all doors were secured and students were safe.

At approximately 1:22 PM Chief Martin reported that the situation was under control and the students were not in any danger. The decision was made to lift the Code Yellow Lock Down and proceed with classes as scheduled.
