I wanted to inform the City of Italy that progress had been made in the motor vehicle thefts which had occurred in November and up to this past week. There were a total of three stolen vehicles that were recovered in the City of Lancaster last week. I personally want to thank some of the citizens for their assistance in this matter.

This is an on going investigation and so far we have two suspects that are in custody for the thefts. I will continue to keep the community updated.Remember to take valuables inside and lock all vehicle doors

I would like to thank the following Officers for being proactive and putting extra hours in, in order for the owners to get their property back.
