Teen Dating Violence Prevention workshop for Parents

Teen dating violence is similar to and can be as lethal as adult relationship violence. Approximately one in three girls is a victim of abuse from a dating partner. It includes hitting, yelling, threatening, name calling and other forms of verbal, sexual, emotional and physical abuse. These facts make it very important for parents to be aware of relationship abuse.

This workshop will help parents be able to see the warning signs of abuse, ways to handle this problem, as well as how to have that hard conversation with your teen whether they are a victim or an abuser.
