High school administration and FFA advisors are aware of what happened in downtown Dallas last night. With State FFA Convention in Dallas around the corner our main priority is student safety. Please know that we will be monitoring this situation in the days to come. We will still be attending convention knowing that some late night activities and off site excursions may be limited. We will discuss plans with the FFA officer team on Monday and monitor each day leading up to fun night activities. Thankfully we will not be leaving the convention center during the day for lunch because we have lunch tickets for meals at the convention center. We will be getting an emergency permission slip to all officers to fill out with contact information and insurance information just to be safe.
