Italy — Contained in this article are photos taking during the demolition of the previous community center that was located at the corner of Harplod Street and Main Street in downtown Italy. Change can be difficult especially she you watch the change occur as bricks fall to the ground.

Everyone has a chance to add their personalized brick to the walls of the new outdoor pavilion currently under construction in the same location. Hopefully, the new pavilion will be a new beginning for Italy’s downtown landscape that has being receiving attention from the city’s Economic Development Corporation which has been working toward beautifying the downtown area.

The new pavilion with these customized bricks will help us remember our past as we build toward the future.
