The application for the Dale Hansen Football Classic academic scholarship has been released and ready for eligible senior boys and girls to complete. One Italy High School senior boy and one Italy High School senior girl will be awarded anywhere from $500 to $1,000 towards college expense. 
 
To qualify for the scholarship, the student must be a senior and be a participant in the Dale Hansen Classic (football player, cheerleader, band, drill team, trainer, flag core, etc….) on Friday, September 7, 2012.
 
The scholarship application must be postmarked by August 15th and mailed to the address listed on the application. 
 
Additionally, the boy and girl selected from Italy High School must attend a scholarship banquet in the spring. (Date to be determined. Perhaps April.)
