Lady Gladiators fall in three to Bosqueville

Hillsboro — The regional quarterfinal matchup between Italy and Bosqueville was an exciting roller coaster ride of a series that pitted a district runner-up, in the Lady Bulldogs, against the Lady Gladiators, who were the undefeated champions of their district. Bosqueville, who finished ahead of Hubbard and behind Mart in within their district, was salty to say the least and simply refused to fall against Italy’s power game.
Bosqueville won the third and deciding game 6-2 with Italy having runners on base, desperately trying to extend the game. But it wasn’t to be for Italy who graciously congratulated the Lady Bulldogs on a hard fought playoff round win.
Italy’s ladies also took time to present their mother’s with roses for Mother’s Day which proved to be an emotional end to an incredible season of Lady Gladiator Softball.
