Italy ISD/Italy Fire District Election May 9, 2009
The Ellis County Emergency Service District No. 3 (Italy Fire District) and Italy ISD have opted to combine their ballot for tomorrow’s election. The ECES District No. 3 has a tax increase proposition. The Italy ISD is electing two trustees for the school board. Exercise your American right and go vote! The polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9 in the Boze Mitchell Building in downtown Italy.
ECES Disctrict No. 3 Proposition:
“The increase in the maximum rate of the ad valorem tax imposed by the Ellis County Emergency Service District No. 3 from three (3) cents per one hundred dollars ($100.00) valuation to up to a rate of six (6) cents per one hundred dollars ($100.00) valuation.”
School Board Trustee Election:
